The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), through the Fisherfolk-FARMC Coordination Office, conducted the 3rd Quarter Meeting of the NFARMC on September 2, 2024 in General Santos City.

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), through the Fisherfolk-FARMC Coordination Office, conducted an Immersion Activity in the province of Iloilo on June 19, 2024. The activity provided NFARMC members with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, exposure, and familiarity with the situations of the Aquaculture sector.

The Department of Agriculture–Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) is now accepting candidates for nomination to the National Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council (NFARMC). NFARMC serves as an advisory/recommendatory body to the Department of Agriculture. Deadline of nomination is on May 24, 2024.
